[ RadSafe ] Subject: A surprise in the Energy Bill

[Bradt, Clayton (LABOR)]

This should come as no surprise since HPS has been lobbying for
expansion of NRC's authority for years.  The fact that it is bad
legislation that conflicts with the original intent of the Atomic Energy
Act didn't seem to matter to the people who count.
