Check with MDS Nordion of Canada. They make Co-60 sources for irradiation
and other uses.

Subject: [ RadSafe ] other radionuclide impurities in Co-60 sources
Does anyone on the list have any information, or references to publications
that can provide information on the manufacture of Cobalt-60 sources. In
particular whether Cobalt enriched steel is used and if so what other
radionuclides may be produced at the same time e.g. Fe-55 or Ni-63.
Regards,
Julian
