Radiation Safety Technician

Salary Starting between: $17.94-19.68-21.60/Hr. 
Shift: Days 
Appointment: 100% 
Summary: Under the supervision Radiation Safety Officer, incumbent
performs technical support for the Radiation Safety Program. Performs or
assists in majority of areas within the radiation safety program
including radiation monitoring, instrument calibrations, radioactive
waste management, in-service education, safety checks of personnel
shielding, exposure measurements and other functions supporting the
Radiation Safety Program. Monitors radiation safety during radionuclide
therapy treatments.
