Peach Bottom-3 set a world record for longest continuous run by a light
water
reactor (LWR), Exelon nuclear said today in a press release. The unit shut
down for refueling last night, having operated 707 days, 17 hours, and 28
minutes without a shut down since its last refueling outage in 2003, Exelon
said.
