Bucharest, 24 August: Works at reactors three and four of the Cernavoda
nuclear power plant will take about six years, announced Minister of Economy
and Commerce Ioan Codrut Seres.
The construction will require 2.2bn euros and the proposal for the start of
the project will be submitted to the government next week.
Unlike reactor two, which was entirely built by the Romanian state, reactors
three and four will be completed with financing from an investment fund
where the state is the majority stakeholder. The investors will be
established according to the incoming offers.
