[ RadSafe ] Question regarding typical patient & technologist dose from digital x-ray systems compared to conventional film x-ray systems

I have been searching for documentation that addresses the typical 
patient & technologist dose from digital x-ray systems compared to  
conventional film x-ray systems and have not been very successful. I 
only find manufacturers literature but without any real data 
provided.

I would appreciate any dose comparison or links to such data.
