In 1995 the Nuclear Regulatory Commission forced us to convert our Safety Analysis Report under review by the NRC to SI units.  After several months the job was done by a small side group (not the contributors).  Imagine my surprise to find the units gamma flux (photons per sq cm per sec) came out as magnetic flux (it has since been fixed.)  But I for one will never accept energy spectra in joules instead of MEV.

I note that even today, the NRC has not fully converted themselves.
