Description: Siemens Molecular Imaging EHS Specialist 5 (Regional Health
Physicist Position)

Siemens Molecular Imaging is currently seeking a Regional Health
Physicist, to be based in Knoxville, TN, for the Corporate Radiological
Compliance Department. This position will primarily be responsible for
licensing of the PETNET Solutions radiopharmacies. In addition, this
position will also be responsible for reviewing and auditing
radiological operations, review of effluent monitoring results,
emergency response, and program development and implementation.

The candidate must have a B.S. or M.S. (preferred) in Health Physics,
with at least five years experience in operational health physics
related to nuclear pharmacies, medical facilities, and/or materials
licenses. Experience with the radiation safety issues associated with
cyclotrons or radiopharmaceutical production is very desirable. The
ideal candidate should be a self-motivated individual, have a strong
technical background, and sound knowledge of regulatory requirements
(NRC/DOT/Agreement States), and have excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. Approximately 50% travel is required for this
position.
