[ RadSafe ] Concrete additives for shielding

Would anyone be willing to share their experiences with different shotcrete (concrete that is sprayed on) mixtures to optimize gamma shielding?

There are some mixtures available that increase the density of the cured product and some contain high Z elements. Both of these factors would increase the amount of shielding provided. However, if the higher density means that less material can be applied in one spray, then there would be no net gain.

Anyway, if someone has real-world experience with this or has done a literature search that they are willing to share, please respond (privately or on-list).
