[ RadSafe ] Kansas to let nuclear plant guards "shoot to kill"

Not withstanding my previous light-hearted comment to Luke's message (below), the Georgia General Assembly is considering similar legislation ... SB 532, a bill "to enhance the protection of facilities licensed by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission". This bill would also authorize nuclear plant security personnel to "[t]hreaten or use [deadly] force against another in defense of a federally licensed nuclear power facility and the persons therein ..."
