Thanks for this.

 I didn't read it because I've read too much of Rosalie's "stuff" over the
last several decades to read any more.

However, I think she is right this time. Th-234 decay to Pa-234m and Pa-234m
decays to U-234 (99+%) and Pa-234 (~0.13%). Pa-234 has many gamma rays, but
unless the other U-238 progeny are removed, they are difficult to see.

What's with this (bottom of page 503) from Dr. Rosalie Bertell:

"Thorium-234 decays to protactinium-234m (Pa-234m), an isomer of Pa-234,
which has a half-life of 1.17 minutes and is a beta emitter.
Protactinium-234m decays to Pa-234, which has a half-life of 6.7 hours and
is an alpha emitter."

Sorry, but Pa-234 was a beta emitter (with a very distinctive 1001 KeV gamma
photopeak) decaying to U-234.
