In the course of waste disposal I have come across thorium in capacitors and
thorium coated optics. These could be shipped using the UN2909 shipping
name. I will send you the picture of the capacitors directly if I can locate
it in my email archives.

Can anyone provide examples of articles containing natural uranium or
thorium that could be shipped/transported in an excepted package with a DOT
identification number of UN2908?  Also, if you have any pictures of the
articles or packages containing the articles, and are willing to share them,
that would be helpful.
