         Did you mean to say "commiserate"?  I'm not certain commiserate 
can be used here, for I believe one can only commiserate with another 
person.  This sentence probably calls for sympathize or empathize; or 
perhaps, "I feel your pain" -- a corny fashionable expression which I detest.
