        Hope you are all well.  During WW II, the US government was running
cyclotrons and a Calutron at Oak Ridge (see documentaries on the History
Channel USA).  No doubt, the US government was running a diffusion plant
at Oak Ridge also.

        OK, maybe Heisenberg's reactor was not fully completed.  It was a
work in progress.  SO, PERHAPS the uranium headed for Japan (for 
eventual enrichment) was not actually for direct bomb making, but was rather
slated for making enriched uranium to make Heisenberg's reactor operate
properly (or at all).

       Hurricane (and earthquake) season(s) are upon us.  Stay safe.
