[ RadSafe ] Radiation Detection Equipment for sale

I, personally, would not mind having KNOWLEDGEABLE people from a company
with something REALLY new tell us about their stuff. I recognize that
the tech is screaming along while I am doing other things, and new toys
show up that would be nice to know about, even if I am unlikely to find
one under the budget tree. I agree that we don't want this to become
the Radiation Shopping Network or radBay, but there should be a way to
make it work.

I don't suppose I'd like to see a zilliion commercial postings, but I do
think it's of interest to learn about the occasionally available used
instruments, sources, shielding materials, references, and related
radioactive/radiation producing objects, which makes it more likely that
these materials will be used rather than added to our waste piles.

I suppose my rule of thumb would be, if you have a website that you
routinely sell from you shouldn't be posting such information on
RadSafe, except in response to specific questions. If you are cleaning
out your office or house and have gently used radiation-related papers,
books, gadgets, etc., it might be nice to let folks know such items are
available.

My opinion only,

Cindy
