RADIATION SAFETY DIRECTOR ASSISTANT - SD514888

 

Manage the Hospital and Medical Center radiation safety operations.
Serve as Director as assigned in the absence of the Director. Establish
and implement policies and procedures for the use of radiation and
radioactive materials. Act as liaison with Federal, State and Local
regulatory agencies. Maintain KY licenses and registration, including
drafting amendments and renewals. Develop and implement training
programs, conduct classes, seminars and/or workshops relating to
radiation protection and the safe handling of radiation sources.
Supervise routine duties of two Radiation Health Technicians. Manage the
annual testing of medical imaging equipment and calibration of survey
equipment. Perform periodic inspections where radiation and radioactive
materials are used. Serve as the Laser Safety Officer. Serve as a
Radiological Incident Response Team Supervisor.

 

Bachelor's degree plus 3 years related experience or the equivalent is
