SAIC is currently seeking up to 2 Radiation Safety Officers to support
Army licensing requirements in Iraq.

Job Description:
Perform routine radiation safety duties as RSO, including,
but not limited to: performing/documenting/tracking/maintaining surveys
and survey records, issuing/retrieving dosimeters, issuing/tracking
instrument
calibration/repair, receiving/tracking radioactive material, tracking
supplies/equipment, maintaining license records, preparing audit files,
preparing training packages and recording results etc. 

Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree and 2 years experience, or equivalent
training
and experience (Navy Nuke ELT highly desired).

Required Skills:
Work history that demonstrates ability to apply basic radiation safety
concepts, practices and procedures. Familiar with word, adobe acrobat,
excel, etc. Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Must be
willing to commit to a minimum 1 year contract in Iraq.
