the attached EPA-Document:

in addition to maps has a table:

Total Average Annual Doses (mrem/year EDE) from Cosmic Radiation, Terrestrial Radiation, and Indoor Radon

listing these data for states.

I hope that helps.

Betreff: [ RadSafe ] US Radiation Background Information

I recall from previous discussions that there is data that documents the radiation background throughout the USA. I have been to the US Geological website and have noted an image of the US that denotes various background dose rates in uR/hr. Is there a detailed listing of radiation background to a lower common denominator, such as by zip code, or by state and city or even just state?

Thanks for any information.
