         How do you know Leach et al. 'ignored' Maynard and Hodge?  Perhaps 
they examined it and found it wanting and not worth including.  Perhaps 
they noted (unlike you, James) that M&H's findings were over 20 y old and 
had been superceded by more recent findings.

         Tell us, James, what are your academic credentials to persist in 
spouting off about all of this?
