Tena,
Or working in their front yard where they might get hit by somebody else
driving a car.
Or sleeping in their bed where they might get hit by somebody else driving
a car.
Or playing in a playground where they might get hit by somebody else
driving a car
Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, as the King of Siam put it.
Not to mention children who have such risks imposed on them, often by
reckless people. This segment of killed people (among others) invalidates
the claim of such common risks as being "voluntary" as opposed to the
supposedly "involuntary" risks of radiation.
Your opinion is regulary validated by survey research.

Most of the general public don't understand the basic principles of risk
and
risk management and certainly would never think to apply it to everyday
living such as driving a car.
