I was given your name by Jon Martin, who tells me he has had the pleasure
of meeting you at a number of conferences. Jon is now the Manager of the
Engineering Services group for UKAEA Ltd, and he suggested that I contact
you to see if you would be willing to help us with a prospect in the
Balkans.

The project is to assess the needs and proposed actions in order to perform
the monitoring of the radioactivity into the environment in the West Balkan
countries, and it is being offered up for future tender by the European
Commission, in the form of a Procurement Notice which was issued earlier
this month.

>From a technical point of view we feel confident that the work is within
UKAEA's is capabilities, however we also feel that we would benefit from
engaging with a partner or associate, with prior knowledge of the field and
of the geographic area.

If you feel that you would be willing to help us with this prospect, please
