Hi. I'm a Radiation Safety Technician from Barcelona, (Spain). I have read
your e-mail and I want some information. I perform ALL the duties that you
say in my daily work (I realize my radiation safety work in 6 radiactive
facilities - Radiotherapy, Nuclear Medecine, Research Laboratories, Clinical
Laboratories, Blood irradiation and in the Radiation Safety Unit radioactive
facility). Calibrate detectors, segregate radioactive waste, perform
contamination surveys, verify the staunchness of the radioactive sources,
control in/out radioactive material (visit www.matralab.com please),
personal dosimetry, teacher in radiation safety training classes, etc.
Only for information, do you need a Health Physicist to do this work? How
much is the salary? Here in Spain this job isn't for a Health Physicist, is
for a Techinican, and the salary is over 22.000 euros anual brute
(28.212,8$)
