[ RadSafe ] Radioactive lantern mantels

Reliably radioactive or reliably supplied?

Coleman Corp. still sells Welsbach mantles and there is still 
controversy about the use of thorium nitrates in their production.  This 
  controversy is over 0.4 milliRem per year dose commitment.
