Hello,

I am wondering if anyone knows the Reference document source for the
following statement/general definition. In other words, does anyone know
where this comes from: ‘significant portion of the body?’ ANSI, Regulatory
Guide, Footnote, etc?



*“significant portion of the body.*  A portion, whose area exceeds 900 cm2,
of the body other than the *extremities*.

(Note: This portion represents about 5% of the adult total body area and
about 15% of the trunk surface area.)”
