Power plants in the Northeast routinely see Cs-137 in hunters who eat
caribou harvested in Canada where they consume lichens with high
concentrations of cesium from Chernobyl and bomb tests.

Subject: [ RadSafe ] CS-137 in-vivo

Is anyone aware of a medical treatment that would leave Cs-137 in an
out-patient? If so, how much and for how long?

I KNOW that it's typically used as an external source, or in-patient
brachytherapy.

Thanks,
Brian Rees
