GREETINGS!

Looking to see if there is anyone out there with a radioactive source pellet they would like to get rid of. I am looking at purchasing one or more 137
Cs sealed pellet source of between 10 and 20 millicuries (370 MBq to 740 MBq). The exact size of the pellets do not matter much, 1/2 inch (diameter or less and 1 inch or less in length (12 mm diameter x 25 mm long) would be a nice starting point.

We would pay a negotiated price for the source and pay shipping of course. The obvious point of asking the group if anyone has a spare source is to avoid purchase of a new source. (Anyone have an old pellet source that you would like to get rid of without paying the source disposal company????)

There are no license limitations for us to receive such a source.

If you have any interest, please call or email me:

Thanks
