[ RadSafe ] Uranium Issues

Dear Group:

As a "head's up", there will always be issues related to mining and
petroleum production in countries where the political base is uncertain.
This month, the head of Kazakhstan's nuclear company Kazatomprom went to
jail for 14 years for financial irregularities. Following his arrest last
spring and trial, there will certainly be concerns by companies that have
made heavy investments on whether they will retain licenses.

Likewise in Niger, the recent political coup has raised the same issue.
