While the photon dose estimate is (relatively) new, it has been reported years ago that small bursts of neutrons are sometimes associated with lightning. One would tend to assume that the physical mechanism of origin of both photons & neutrons is the same in this case. Jaro ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
