Polling to see what types of iodine air sampling cartridges are being
used in the nuclear power industry. In the past our station has used
the Radeco CP-100 with a charcoal mesh size of 40x50 and collection
efficiency of 98% at 2cfm. Later the Scott radioiodine sampling
cartridge P/N 803575-01 was used (mesh 12x20). Currently using the HI-Q
TCAL-12 with mesh 8x16, and collection efficiency of 90.95% at 2 cfm.

Thank you, Rodney Simonsen (815) 415-2770
