Responsibilities include conducting laboratory surveys, source inventories, and sealed source leak tests; picking up, consolidating, and processing radioactive waste; receiving, processing and delivering radioactive material packages; calibrating portable radiation survey instruments; responding to portal radiation alarms; and serving as a radiological incident response team member trainee. Minimum qualifications are High School and two years of related experience or the equivalent. HS diploma or GED and 2 years in radiation safety, and/or safety, familiarity with MS Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel), and good customer service skills are preferred.
