A short article in Tuesday's Wall Street Journal reports on some
"hot spots" that were found in Kashiwa, a city some 125 miles from
Fukushima. The article conveniently omits the levels of these hot spots.
The amusing thing is the photo. It shows two rad workers looking at
a pile of dirt. They are wearing what are probably Tyveks coveralls
with hoods. Right beside them is one man in street clothes wearing a
surgical mask, and two other men wearing no protective gear at
all. Another man is standing behind the one wearing the surgical
mask. He is barely visible, but also appears to be wearing no protective gear.
