Wouldn't wish being POTUS on my worst enemy.
My home still has a coal chute. The coal furnace is long gone, but I was under the impression that it was replaced because the previous owner didn't like shoveling coal into the hopper.
Build a market for something and people are willing to pay for it. Stopping cholera outbreaks, ending backbreaking labor are valid reasons for which to cough up money.
The problem with regulating CO2, is that most people are not afraid of the boogeyman. Prove that it is a serial killer and people will scream for regulation.
