predictor of heart disease than were other markers, such as high levels of
the clotting factor fibrinogen, low high-density lipoprotein cholesterol or

As we all know, risks are relative.  Considering that heart disease is the
number one killer of Americans and has been linked to poor dental health,
the use of periodic dental X-rays has a larger health benefit.
