CALL FOR PAPERS:  “Nuclear Power Radiation Safety: Learning from the Past to Protect the Future”


HPS Mid-Year Meeting, Baton Rouge, Feb. 9-12, 2014
The 2014 Midyear meeting in Baton Rouge topic is going to be “Nuclear Power Radiation Safety: Learning from the Past to Protect the Future.”  Please submit abstracts via the website at http://hpschapters.org/2014midyear/abstracts/.  The abstract submittal deadline is only a little over a month away.  Papers are not restricted to commercial nuclear power plant topics, related radiation protection issues are welcomed.


Topical sessions include ALARA, shielding, new plants, regulatory issues, dosimetry, waste management, decommissioning, environmental, emergency response, homeland security, instrumentation, and medical 
dosimetry.
