Dear Radsafe:
Howdy. There is a job for a Chemistry Associate at Brookhaven
National Lab. The job is making
rather esoteric radioisotopes for Medical Use using the Brookhaven Lab BLIP
Facility (Brookhaven
Linac Isotope Production???). It is pretty much (last I heard) 200 MeV
protons from the
Alternating Gradient Synchrotron Linac hitting BLIP targets and making
these interesting radioisotopes.
See BNL's website for more recent information.
Make sure they give you a personnel dosimeter, and make sure BLIP has
an Andersson-Braun,
Snoopy, Remball etc. neutron detector for you to use everyday.
