The Department of Health, Division of Environmental Public Health,
Office of Radiation Protection, Radioactive Materials Section is seeking
a public health professional for the position of Radiation Health
Physicist 2.  This position is located in Tumwater, Washington.

This position is responsible for reviewing radioactive materials license
applications, issuing radioactive materials licenses and performing
radioactive materials license compliance inspections, serving as a
member of an emergency response team, and other duties as assigned.
This involves consulting with applicants and licensees to assure
adequacy of applications, preparing regulations and corresponding with
licensees to achieve understanding to ensure compliance.
