My old friend, Jon Utley, has a new article on reason.com "Terrorism and
Radiation: Understanding the Real Threat To Our Cities. The importance of
understanding the real levels of radiation risk."

He also first learned about the failure of the linear no-threshold
hypothesis (LNT) hypothesis at Doctors for Disaster Preparedness (DDP)
http://www.ddponline.org/ meetings. At the July 13-14, 2013, meeting in
Houston, Matthew Robinson, Ph.D. candidate in nuclear engineering, will
speak about "The Nuclear Energy Future: Thorium Reactors?"

For more details, see my copy of the plain text of the e-mail announcement
