Just wanted to pass this on for anyone else who knew Professor Knoll. Though he was a bit before my time as a University of Michigan nuclear engineering student, I was fortunate enough to meet him on a couple of occasions as well as help proofread the fourth edition of his radiation detection textbook. He will be missed at UM and beyond. RIP.
Go Blue,
John
