There have been several cases reported in the Australian media of 
Hepatitis A.    These cases have been attributed to eating "frozen 
fruit berries," a product on sale in most super markets.  the 
contamination is attributed to poor hygiene in the country of origin 
which is China.

Clearly, freezing does kill the virus.

My question is :   Would gamma irradiation  of the product kill the 
Heapatitis A virus?   Would gamma radiation  adversely alter the 
taste of this product?
