[ RadSafe ] "Uranium: Twisting the Dragon's Tail" PBS special documentary program

Derek Muller, Ph.D. in Physics Education, is the host for a PBS documentary
program "Uranium: Twisting the Dragon's Tail" debuting in the US next week,
July 28 & 29, 10 PM eastern & 9 PM central time. It will be broadcast in
France & Germany on July 31 and in his native Australia on Aug. 9, 16, & 23.

He is very good on physics and radiation on the short YouTube videos
presented under his "Veritasium" program name. He's been to Chernobyl and
other radiation hot spots. On these short YouTube videos, I've only noticed
one niggly error, viz., stating that 2 Sv is fatal to humans, whereas 4-5 Sv
is the usual quoted range for LD50 in untreated humans. 

 

This program could be a valuable and entertaining educational tool for the
public. 

 

He's bad on climate change but has done very little work in that area.
