Does anyone have experience using Dry Ice (CO2) blasting for decon of objects with high alpha contamination?

I am looking into the method for bringing the contamination levels down for shipping purposes on various large items with high alpha contamination levels. My concern is the blast back, how much ventilation/ methods to control the DAC and spread of contamination.
