HIROSHIMA -- Sakae Ito, a survivor of the 1945 atomic bombing of Hiroshima, 
and later emerged as a leading activist against nuclear weapons, died of 
bladder cancer at a Hiroshima hospital Wednesday, a confederation of atomic 
bomb sufferers organizations said. She was 88.
