pMC units for C14 dating



pMC is 'percent modern carbon' calculated against a reference sample of
natural C-14 activity from year 1950.

You find this and lots of other useful information on radiocarbon dating on
http://c14.sci.waikato.ac.nz/,   go to Radiocarbon WEB-Info, then Age
calculation and look for pMC.
