Re: Deadly Plutonium ?



Does anyone else have a problem with the following quotation from this posting:
"It goes on to
state that inhaling smaller amounts of plutonium results in an increased
cancer risk, which is true." ? I am not aware of any human data that
demonstrate the veracity of that statement of fact.  I suspect the statement is
made either on the basis of animal data or on extrapolation from high intakes
(but I don't know of any human studies of high inhalation depositions in the
lungs that demonstrate even high depositions cause cancer).  Any enlightenment
