Syncor International has an opportunity for an Associate Health Physicist in
our Quality and Regulatory Department. This is an entry-level health
physicist position. Duties will include: preparing radioactive material
license applications/amendment requests; interacting with regulatory
agencies such as the NRC, DOT, and Agreement State agencies; and conducting
radiation safety training and health physics instruction to other
professionals.
Requirements and Other Information: Bachelor's degree in health physics or
related field, such as physics, radiation biology, etc. Since this position
is entry level, no specific experience is required. Necessary skills
include: ability to perform multiple tasks in a team environment; ability to
conduct training for other professionals; well-developed verbal and written
skills; ability to make presentations; and proficiency in MS Office or
