These devices are in use by customs officials in the FSR's also.  I agree
with Franz's assertion that a weapon would not be smuggled in a suitcase,
but what about SNM?  This is certainlly a credible scenario and the
detectors are supposedly designed to be able to detect significant amounts
of weapons related materials.  Sorry, I don't have any numbers but if you
would really like to know, let me know and I will ask around.  We do have a
group here that is involved in these activities and they do have those
"pager" detectors.
