Caldicott fear-mongering # 2

Thanks, radsafers, for the expressions of empathy in dealing with the
irrational and influential Caldicotts of the world.  Unfortunately for us
Aussies, she is not going to return to anti-nuclear lobbying in the States
as she has already done her best damage there.  I've just read the news
focus article in the 25 February edition (pages 1382-88) of Science entitled
" Meltdown on Long island" which gives prominence to the role played by
Caldicott's STAR organisation.  Instead of Alec Baldwin lobbying Energy
Secretary Richardson, we will probably have Nicole Kidman (and American
husband Tom Cruise?) lobbying our (nameless) Science Minister to close Lucas
Heights!  Don't laugh ... it has happened to you!
