Japan Nuke Plant May Pay $93M

Lets see, $93 million divided by  4,228 claims  = $21,996 per claim.  

You can build one in my backyard!  You can figure the folks nearby will
receive more than the average.  

Before some people turn fire up their flame throwers to "nuke-em", I do
realize that some people were economically affected by public fear about
buying goods from the local area, but I have a hard time believing that
this level of compensation is warranted for this many.  JCO is the
proximate cause because of the accident, the press should be made to pay
for sensationalism that fosters unwarranted fear.  

(Obviously) my own personal opinion.
