RE: tritium removable contamination



At UCLA, we use a disolvable wipe that we order from Acme.  It is of a
styrofoam naure, but it does dissolve in Ultima Gold "non-hazardous" liquid
scintillation fluid. I believe it will dissolve in most no-haz LSF.  It
takes at least 15-20 minutes to dissolve.  

The wipes are a little fragile and break easily on rough surfaces.  They
work great on smooth surfaces.  They are 1 inch by 1 inch.
