I am not sure that I would buy this sentence for certain fat containing 
foods that have been irradiated - I have some different information 
regarding this (from the "FDA" of Sweden). Fats left some residuals that 
easily can be detected - but it doesn't seem to be a risk issue so 
irradiation is probably very beneficial in cases like chicken foods.
